L.O.V.E.

Jake and celebrated Valentines Day last week on our days off, knowing Jake would not be around today. He is a volunteer for the "Chill Program." He takes 6 boys from the group homes to Brighton and teaches them how to snowboard. He is a great teacher and seems to enjoy going.
I am glad that I have a husband that does not wait to a holiday to express his love, but rather shows me or tells me daily. Jake is thoughtful and is always showing me how much he cares. I know that at times I can be a lot to handle. I love Jake so much and I am glad he is mine for eternity.

Cross Country Skiing

I love my job, but I do not love living in Utah. I loved being in Boise and miss it daily. I tell Jake often that if I could take our job and friends with me I would move back to Boise in a heart beat.  I was talking to Jake about this and wondering why I don't like it. We have made really good friends here, we love our job, we live close to family, etc. After I brought this up to Jake he thought it was because on our days off we don't go out and do things. We sit around the apartment and get caught up on laundry, cleaning, and catching up on our T.V. shows.  I don't ever leave our neighborhood. So it has been Jake's goal to show me some enjoyable parts of this state.
Last week on our days off he drove me through the mountains and we got out and did some hiking. It was beautiful! And this week Jake bought us cross country skis and we spend the day skiing.

Gray and Yellow

For Christmas Jake bought me a new bedroom set. Since we got it I have been searching the internet for new bedding. The other night I was on Pinterest and found this bedding that was gray and yellow, and I instantly fell in love with it. I started searching online for the exact bedspread. I finally found it, (for me it seemed like hours of searching, but in reality it was about 15 minutes.) But to order it with all the pillows was going to be around 300 hundred dollars. I decided it was something that I was going to have to save up for.
The next afternoon Jake took me out shopping. And I found the exact bedspread, at an extremely discounted price. Talk about luckiest day ever!
I spend the weekend shopping to find yellow and gray pillows to go with the bedspread. I went to a million stores and found nothing so I decided that I was going to make my own. I am pretty happy with how to turned out..
