Walking the Dog

Just last night Jake and I were talking about how whenever we are out in public we see some of the strangest but most wonderful things, the only down side is that we never have our camera to capture the moment. Its a real bummer. Well, we were out tonight and we passed a lady on the sidewalk that was pushing a little doll stroller. There was no doll in the stroller but her dog. Just laying there. I can only imagine how humiliated he must have felt. We couldn't help but laughing. Who does that?

Water Fight!

It has been over or around 100 degrees everyday for the last couple weeks. Jake thought since it was so hot outside that we should test out our water guns...inside. We had a huge water fight in our apartment. We were using our guns which don't spray a ton of water at once. So it just makes sense that Jake needed to switch to a pitcher. I was soaked from head to foot....We called truce but I will get Jake back when he least expects it....

First camping trip of the year

I have been wanting to go camping all summer, and it finally happened. We were gone Thursday-Saturday and we had a GREAT time! It was nice being outside all day playing in the river and going for hikes.

Camping was fun until we had some obnoxious people camp next to us. They were loud and kept walking through our camp and letting their dogs run all over.But all in all we had a great time. Jake told me this was the only camping trip I get for the summer... but I bet I can convince him otherwise.

4th of July

This year we stayed in Boise for the 4th. We went to Ryan and Teri's for a BBQ and games. We had so much fun. It was hot so we filled up water balloons and had a little water fight. I forgot my camera, so sad. It was nice spending the holiday with family. I am so grateful for the freedoms that we have and the people who have fought for it! I am Proud to be and American!

Cranium Date Night

Jake planned a date for us last night. We love to play games, so he decided that we would go to a thrift store and look for a game. I was so excited when we found one of my favorite games (in excellent condition) for only $1.99

favorite summer activities

I love being outside in the summer. I do not like being indoors unless it is over 100 degrees:) Jake and I have been going on bike rides, jogging, and picnics. But my all time favorite new activities are...

TENNIS and FRISBEE. So fun. You should all try it.

Flower Headbands

A lady at work taught me how to made these headbands. I think they are super cute. I had a friend and her daughter over this morning and we each made a couple. So much fun!
