As many of you know...

My sister McKenzie has been diagnosed with MS(Multiple Sclerosis) recently. She has a great attitude but I know it has been hard. She has had a really bad last week and lost all the feeling in her legs and had to be put in a wheelchair. They gave her a 3 day steroid treatment and she slowly has gotten the feeling back in her legs. She struggles with balance and when she walks has to either use a walker or hold on to things around her.

I know that it is devistating for her, especially being so young(18). I have decided to do a MS WALK in a couple weeks. I was hoping that I could get some sponsors and raise money, in hopes for a cure. If you would like to donate please contact me. Thank you for all of your love and support.
McKenzie hopes to come up for it and I will push her in her wheelchair, but we will see.

23

I had another birthday again this year and talked Jake into doing a BBQ party. Jake's brothers Zach and Austin came on Thursday and stayed the weekend with us. They watched all the ball games. Then my family come on Friday morning and we spent the day shopping and hanging out. I love when family comes to visit. The day of the party turned out being a beautiful day. We had a Jake's parents, Zach, Austin, Ryan and Teri and their kids. My parents and Kenzie came along with a few of our friends. We played lasso golf, frisbee, golf, and just hung out. The kids had fun running around and blowing bubbles. I didn't get a chance to take too many pictures, but I made sure to get some of the cake Jake made for me. I think it turned out awesome.
Jake made me a grill and burger cake to go along with our theme...

Jake is so creative and had a fun job putting everthing together. Not only did it look good but it tasted delicious!

Finally got the pictures off my Camera!

Here are a few things that we have been up to. No specific order....This is my cute little nephew. We all went our to eat the day Zach went through the temple. Jake got really sick the Thursday before we left for Twin. He was unable to go and was sad he missed being in the temple with the family. I still went to show support. We love you Zach!

My niece is so excited to be a new big sister, and I am excited to have a new niece! She is just a few days old in this picture. She is beautiful!

Ashlynn had a birthday and turned 5. All my nieces and nephews are growing up way too fast. I helped Teri make this princess castle. (Okay Teri did most the work, I just watched). I think it turned out awesome.

Every year for Valentine's Day Jake makes me the most delicious dessert in the whole world. Cherry berries on a cloud. It really is heavenly. We were able to spend Valentine's Day with Ryan and Teri. Teri made a delicous dinner and then we watched their kids while they went to a church activity.

I covered these letters in scrapbooking paper. Finally one Valentine's Day decoration! Teri picked out the paper, I just copied.

March Sadness

Here is the deal. I live for March Madness. Jake and I have been talking about it since January. I love it! I love filling out the brackets, trash talking with the family, I love watching all the games. Everything. Well I have been thinking about my brackets and how I was going to fill them out. Well then my paper as you will read next got lost, and I missed the deadline for my brackets! I realized this when I walked into a friends house they were watching the BYU/Florida game, my heart dropped. I am so sad. Luckily for me Jake said that we could be a team and use his brackets.

The Joys of Computers

I had a paper due this morning at 7:30 a.m. It is ten pages long. I wrote the paper last week and have been working with the TA to perfect it. It is a huge part of my grade, worth 2 tests. It has had me pretty stressed. I was feeling good though I finished it on Tuesday Morning, not typical for me. I usually procrastinate, so having it done early was an accomplishment. I went to read over it last night(wednesday) and print it. I opened it up and it was only my rough draft. The final paper was nowhere to be found. My hours of work, gone. So starting at 8:30 last night (after realizing that crying was not bringing my paper back) I had to start my paper over. I finished around 1 am. and had my paper to school by 7:30.

Freezing to Death

Last night it was really hot in our apartment, which was making it hard to sleep. Jake made a deal with me if he got up and opened the window that I would be the one to close it. Jake fell asleep fast because he had taken Nyquil Well I accidentiely feel asleep with the window open.
Jake woke up complaining. He said he was having a dream that he was freezing to death and then realized it was real life.

Zach's Mission Call

Zach got his mission call this last weekend. He didn't think that he got it so he didn't drive home from school. But on Saturday afternoon it arrived. Zach jumped in his car and drove up to open his call. It was so fun to be there while he opened it! He is going to the Baltic Mission, which consists of Estonia,Lithuania, andLatvia and he will be speaking Russian. He is going to be a great missionary, and is excited to leave. He enters the MTC on June 16. We are proud of him and know he will be an excellent missionary! We love you Zach!

Camera still broken

For some reason I cannot get my pictures uploaded from my camera to the computer. I need Jake to look at it but we both have just been so busy. Last weekend we went to Twin for a really quick trip. It was Jake's mom's birthday, Zach was getting his mission call, and I had a huge research project that had to be done in Twin. It was a fun weekend. Austin was sick over the weekend and I caught a cold from him. I think mine was a little worse. I had a fever for a few days, body aches, and ear aches in both ears. I was miserable. I missed almost all last week of school and work. I am feeling much better and just cough a little at night.

I finally got a calling in my ward. It is nice to finally have one. We have been in the ward a little over 7 months. I was called to the Primary to teach the 8-11 year old girls. I think it will be fun. I am looking forward to it.
